Cultus - Hymns of Descending

Second album from this Dutch one-man band playing some really neat raw atmospheric black metal. The songs are quite long and repetitive giving it a hypnotic feel; the vocals are sparsely used and the production is quite raw and thin creating a noisy wall that fits perfectly with the repetitive song-writing. A great release!

I put this on my blog a while back. I forgot where I found it originally, but I thoroughly it. Very thin and sparse, just like I like it.

This guy did copy a Malveillance demo from a battered CD-R and sold it as TAPE. Says it all.
