Malkuth - Mutus Liber

Debut album from this underground US band. Raw black metal done right; muddy production, strong raspy vocals, simple composition, the works! The sound for some reason reminds me of European bands, don’t know why…
Essential listening for all fans of raw black metal.

I'd been looking for this for a while, since it's only available on vinyl. I've had the pleasure of playing several shows with these guys and they ALWAYS fucking kill. Don't know how that dude is possibly validating the "hipster" reference, but whatever. Excellent band.
