Debut album by this new German one-man band. When I first heard the album it blew me away, the music just pulled me in with its amazing composition and absolutely tasteful use of ambience in the songs. Rarely do I stumble upon an album that grips me from first listen. The album is full of memorable moments and the title is spot on as this is truly melancholic music. Also the ambient songs are extremely well done, not just filler but incredibly effective compositions.
This album is a must for all fans of atmospheric black metal, one of the finest releases this year!
